Associate Director - Paul Mathewson Suburban/Rural Church Planting Paul is the President of Church Health Ministries, Inc. (CHM). CHM provides church health assessments, strategic planning, leadership training and pastoral encouragement to churches, pastors and church leadership teams. Information about CHM can be found at www.churchhealthministries.org. He also is a popular conference leader and seminar speaker, and is a certified outreach trainer for Outreach, Inc. Prior to transitioning to ministry, Paul spent 23 years in the insurance industry, the last ten of which as Chief Operating Officer of a major Property/Casualty Insurance Group. Associate Director - Rev. William Holmes, Jr. Urban/Ethnic Church Planting On September 1, 2003, Rev. Bill Holmes was unanimously appointed to the position of Urban/Ethnic Associate by the Mission Mid-Atlantic board and the Church Planting Committee. Bill Holmes has been the associate pastor of the First Baptist Church of Collingdale PA for the last fourteen years. Over the years the Lord has been preparing Bill to be uniquely qualified for this position. He has a love for the city, has cross-cultural experience, and clearly has demonstrated his ability to work well with all people, i.e. city dwellers, ethnic groups and poor people. Bill has just been called to be senior pastor at Maran-atha Tabernacle, Darby PA. With the counsel of a Leadership Support Team that includes Mission Mid-Atlantic, Bill and this church will reconnect with its changed neighborhood and develop a cross-cultural church, providing a model for replanting a city church. He also plans to build a resource network for the pastors and churches in the urban centers of our region and provide an information center for the state and city services available to better aid the people they serve.
